Vanessa and Malala McMoore
Owners and Founders
HI State Construction was established by Vanessa and Malala McMoore in 2020. With over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, Vanessa and Malala launched a women-owned construction company dedicated to undertaking projects of varying sizes. Their portfolio includes constructing an Olympic facility in Mozambique, South Africa, as well as managing residential ground-up construction, framing fast-food restaurant in Kailua, Oahu, and installing commercial partitions throughout the Hawaiian Islands.
Vanessa and Malala's leadership style is distinguished by an active involvement and a strong emphasis on collaboration. They advocate for creating a team-centric environment where every member is encouraged to contribute ideas and solutions.
